I am a molecular biologist interested in applying computational analyses of ancient DNA and other biological material from ancient human remains to study human evolution and human history.
I am also an associate researcher at the Archaeogenetics Department of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology and the Max Planck – Harvard Research Center for the Archaeoscience of the Ancient Mediterranean (MHAAM) in Leipzig, Germany, where I conducted my thesis research on the genomic dynamics of the ancient Aegean.
Lastly, I collaborate with the Palaeogenomics and Bioarchaeology Research Network (PalaeoBARN) at the University of Oxford, UK, studying the genomics and evolutionary history of various domestic and feral animals.
