I am a postdoctoral fellow on the Make-Up of the Cities project, using isotope analyses to reconstruct the life histories from five urban centres from across medieval Belgium as part of an interdisciplinary team. I obtained my PhD in Archaeology from the University of Aberdeen (2025), where I focused investigating the life histories of pre- and peri-historic Scottish individuals through combined stable isotope and aDNA analyses. I previously undertook a BA (Hons) in Archaeology and Anthropology (2021) and an MSc in Archaeological Science (2021) at the University of Oxford, during which I specialised in human osteology and isotopic methods. In my MSc dissertation I used incremental isotope analysis of dentine to investigate weaning practices in Mesolithic-Neolithic Latvia.
I have also been involved in community archaeology and public engagement since 2016 through the Sedgeford Historical and Archaeological Research Project, and I am currently a human remains team supervisor and committee member.
